(CONTD) Then he said "Get out of my face!"
I said "why are you being mean to me? You don't have to speak to me that way." He said "Because you're making me be in a bad mood & you're starting stuff saying im impatient & everything. I get tired of your attitude sometimes.c c You're being annoying. I told you I would get MY tire pump out of your car & you didn't need to do it."
I said, "You still didn't need to be mean & speak to me that way." He said, "you're mean too. Im not saying that you deserve to be mean to though."
I said "why didn't you just tell me earlier that you needed the tire pump?"
He said, "I thought it was in the house & I'm telling you now."
Anddd this is exactly why I need to start working again & try HARD to get my own place ASAP.
. It's also another reason why I won't introduce him to my parents. At this point, why should I? He's super immature (even though he's a year older than me.
This has been the HARDEST 4 MONTHS of my life--being unemployed & laid off). I actually cried for the first time in a long time last week the day before Christmas Eve & on Christmas Eve because I received like 3 rejection emails from jobs I recently applied to & interviewed for. Then, God gave me a breakthrough & I received a job offer last Thursday, which made my whole day & year.
See Director 1. I concur. Don’t look to him for your happiness. Look inside yourself and see your worth! Kick him to the curb. Doesn’t sound like marriage material to me!
Sorry to hear a tough New Year’s Day, it will get better and things will eventually iron themselves out. They always do. Take care. ☺️

1. Let go of the expectation that because it’s Jan 1 only good things should happen (e.g., avoiding arguments). 2. Create an escape plan 3. Start to map out your transition to being on your own.
I think the fact that you refer to him as your boyfriend/roommate after 7 years together is something to reflect on. As well as the fact that he does not discuss the future with you. Is this what you want? Are you happy with your relationship status? Does he treat you how you think you should be treated? If you’re thinking “well I don’t know if I’ll find someone who treats me better” I personally think you can (but I also only have the limited context from this post). If you have doubts, don’t ignore them. Address them.
Cingrats on the job offer, but how long are you together that you weren't invited to go to his mom's house? My parents had met my gf before we moved in together (I had already met her friends because both of her parents had passed.)

@bookkeeper-thank you! I just sent you a DM
All I can think of are many things I'm not qualified to say.
I can think of 🚩
Could be just a rough day, but could be more than that. Figure out which it is. Everyone is entitled to a bad day now and then but if this is a regular occurrence (daily/weekly/monthly) think about where the line is
