Are you okay Op? Sending good wishes your way.
No worries Op, I can totally understand what you’re going through. Keep faith in yourself and remember that this too shall pass. Peace ✌️
Great time to get fired, I’m sure you’ll find something ASAP in this 🔥 market

It says a lot about this app that half of the people reply “why” rather than “sorry”.
Also, sorry to hear that!
A2 never turned down assignments, just had questions on a new one because I didn’t know what it was.
FYI most other firms are hiring, just in case.
Thanks, all- posted above in a reply, but basic story is:
was told I have a week to find another project or I’m out. MD going scorched earth after I expressed concerns about a potential new assignment to him. He said people during covid should be happy for any job and he no longer wants anything to do with me. I have no real contacts at this company because I haven’t been here long, so don’t even know how to find another contract.

OP- that’s terrible.
Early in my career I had good reviews and everything seemed fine. Then one day my boss calls me in and tells me she’s giving me the option to quit or be fired and I have the evening to decide.
I went in the next morning and refused to quit. Called her bluff. Totally ruined the relationship and honestly the job for me. I sought employment elsewhere and it took 13 months but I found a much better and encouraging environment. I also learned from that incident and never allowed it to repeat.
Later, in another job, our Director left. They backfilled with someone else later described by senior leadership as living the Peter Principle. Anyways, he refused to answer questions. A few of my colleagues asked why the sudden change, and they were yelled at for two hours. No kidding.
That interim Director left quickly and we were better for it.
What I’m getting at is some people are poor leaders. Sometimes, they have the power to exert their mismanagement style on you. This MD is clearly a poor leader. Seek an alternative employer. If they terminate you, that’s terrible. But in 5 years you’ll look back and find you’re in a much better spot than under this fool.

Naw you escaped
What did you do?

That’s terrible to hear.
Why?
Let me know if you need a referral to Accenture. We are hiring like crazy.

MDs don’t exist at many firms...but they do at ACN!

Stay cool and don’t walk away empty-handed if you don’t have to.

OP here- also have a TS! If it can be utilized remotely, would love any referrals! Thanks, 🐠 😊
Hi message me! We’re looking and TS is the biggest blocker rn for many of our prospects!
Sorry about that. Why?
