Making himself at home in my home office!

McKinsey & Company I am joining the McKinsey & Company Boston office in late July and searching for housing in the meantime. If I could get some insight on the ratio of days in the office vs work from home that would be super helpful!
If I need to come into the office regularly I will try to find a place close by.

Does Genpact provide permanent work from home?
Globant India Pvt. Ltd. Hi Globers ! I have an offer from Globant for the role of a BA. While discussing the role with HR pre and post the interviews & offer, I had specifically ask the HR to tag me to Ahmedabad location as that's my hometown and I do not wish to relocate. But she has rolled out the offer for Pune location ane verbally ( isn't giving me in writing ) assured me that the location will be flexible. May I know from the fellow Globers if we have location flexibility or WFH option available? Globant India Pv

A pack of 12 LaCroix costs less than a gallon of gas where I am
I went in also. Nice to see people. Maybe I’ll try it again in a few months.
in the same boat lollll
I swear these posts are corporate psyops… Russia is that you?
CD1, introverts aren't the ones asking to limit freedoms. It's the extroverts who are suggesting we mandate certain in office requirements, whereas the introverts are happy to let people choose where to work as they see fit.

You’re setting the bar low. Have some self respect.
The joke was something about writers having no self respect.
I go into the office 1-2 days a week and I love it. It’s a great change of pace and I like my coworkers. I’m looking forward to going on tomorrow.
Me, upstairs
In the two years since my office sent everyone home I’ve gone through the complete cycle of working from home as a novelty, to firmly loving working from home and avoiding the commute, to feeling like I’m restless by being trapped in my apartment, to now hating work from home.
I don’t want to go back full time but am actually looking forward to returning to the office a couple of days a week to mix it up. So feeling so trapped and bored right now at home and distractions from my husband makes it impossible to focus on my work for long stretches of time so I’m no where near as productive as I could be at home.
Feel like I’ve gone through similar phases
I find people who want to work from home 100% of the time detrimental to the company. Yes, I love having the option to WFH and the flexibility it provides occasionally, but in person collaboration is SO fundamental.
I give up, folks. The introverts have won.
Went to the office once a week for the past 2 weeks. Working on some ideation of some new features and strategies, and I find a lot of value in being able to sit in a room and whiteboard, and discuss with coworkers in a common physical space. Remote work is great for most of my day to day work, but I find a lot of value in in-person collaboration for unstructured work like that. I’m very happy that a few key coworkers live within driving distance and we can collaborate in person at a minimal cost to the company. I’m looking forward to having the flexibility to work remotely or in the office as I see fit, but I still fee l like 100% remote isn’t how I work best.

No.
Enjoy. I’ve been working from the south of France and Southeast Asia the last 10 months. Much better than free lacroix. 😂

Doesn’t La Croix pour from the taps in France?
Wait my office also has a butt load of LaCroix. Is that like every creative agency’s office drink of choice? (This is my first creative job post college so I don’t know if this is like in industry standard or something)
EP i don’t drink lacroix but i’ve seen the purple one make a lot of appearances around the studio lately
Is the LaCroix really worth it? I think it’s terrible and would rather have a bubly. That said, I would go into the office for concepting with my partner or ideating as a group or even a big deal client presentation. But that’s about it. Btw, Sodastream is adequate for your basic at home needs.

Well, first and foremost, I went in because my internet took a HUGE shit and instead of opting to just go to a local coffee shop, I went to the office to get some silence, put my head down, and work. Snacks and soda water was just a fringe benefit.
I only leave home for Polar.
I’ve worked from home until recently. Now back to the office each day for a defined period of time. I don’t have to dress up too much, it’s casual, and my commute is short but damn is it still exhausting. I’m not used to daily chit chat, waking to an alarm clock, forcing myself into the shower, impromptu meetings. I do not miss this.
I have those at home.
