I’m turning 31 at the end of the month and I’m committed to getting myself back into shape. Like most, Covid hit me hard.

31 yrs old, Male, 6’3, and I weight about 260lbs.

I want to gain muscle but also lose weight.

Food is my biggest issue. According to various calculator to maintain my weight I would need to eat 2664 calories a day.

Assuming I’m going to be on a weightlifting regiment (6 days a week). What should my caloric intake be?

Any tactics to score a covid vaccine? I’m in a priority group but having a hard time finding an appointment slot. Any tips?

Are all firms forcing Covid boosters? I’d rather not get one but don’t want to risk my job

Okay, it’s time to stop putting on a face about this. I love my boyfriend so much, but covid is ruining us. We are both still WFH and argue every few days about the dumbest stuff. My and his mental health are both diminishing and it feels like an impossible trench to dig out of. My stomach hurts every time we fight and I (independent of him) feel so stuck in this horrible global crisis. I don’t want to lose him, but I need to figure out how to dig us both out of this unsustainable mental state.

Uhh so I’m suddenly going from nerdy quant trader guy to having to play golf and attend F1 races with the other VCs and founders… haven’t been to a proper social since Covid. Any pointers?

So I was selected to serve in an organization with 2 chairs. We were told that we would have an in person conference next week for 2 days. Then, covid happened. Then, reopening, etc. We were told the conference may or may not be virtual. The members followed up with the chairs a month out and were told we would be told whether it was virtual or not. Crickets. Follow up again 2 weeks out. Told they would email that day. Again crickets. Is it wrong as a mom with young kids that I think this is sup

Hi folks, I need some advice.. I’ve been with my company 18+ years. Over covid I moved to FL from NYC but now my office is reopened 50%. They’ve been expecting me to commute weekly at my own expense. It’s now too expensive to look at resigning a lease in nyc. Should I expect them to pay for anything over 50% since that’s the requirement of in-office time? Or should I cut my loses and move on? Does your firm send out office wide emails when people test positive for Covid and list the floors the person was on? For supposedly trying to preserve anonymity, they really narrow the number of people by listing office floors

Have there been lay-offs at your company due to Covid? Which roles have been more impacted? What are severance packages like? It’s been shocking to me and I’m wondering if there will be another round of lay offs this year at my company.

i had my canadian pr last year but didn’t do the landing since covid hit. the deadline passed of course and the immigration office reached out to check if i’m still interested and if so i should re-do a medical. assuming my medical goes through and my pr is processed and accepted again, does anyone know if landing is still a thing? my original plan was to do a landing and move after 2 years. is this still possible or does canada basically want you to move in a year or so after pr is granted?
