What are some ways that you give constructive feedback to your students that both encourages them to do better but also emphasizes their strengths? I have some kids who are a bit behind but I know they're capable. I just want to see them shine

I have so many friends getting engaged and I just feel... anxious since I am SO single. I'm 27, and I know I'm at that age where people do but it just sucks. I've been on the apps too and it's just... more demotivating honestly than anything else

Has anyone quit their job because of a relationship? I started my job 3 months ago and now my employer wants me to move to NY. The thing is, I fell in love during the pandemic with a friend that I have known for 3 years. It's frustrating since I know I could continue my job from home. My son is just over a year and has been a mommy's boy since the day he was born. This weekend he came to Daddy over Mommy and has been wanting me to pick him up more. I felt so useless during his first few months because he was so attached to his mom, but now I finally feel the love he has been giving mommy and my heart feels full.

Very curious to get folks' perspectives on having kids at 30 vs. 35 vs. 40? Context: I'm 27 and am leaning towards 35ish age range for first kid.

My marriage is struggling and we have to pack up the kids and fake it till we make it with my in laws for most of their Christmas break. I don't want a divorce but things are not good, and it's hard to pretend they are even in front of the kids. Looking for advice I guess, or just a kind word. Really don't want the in-laws finding out and trying to put their two cents in, and neither does she.

Should I break up with my girlfriend? We have been dating for close to 2 years and there are some things that have irked me (her lack of care around finances, talks about her exes, super insecure about her looks (complained to me when she was drunk last Friday how no guys bought her drinks, I wasn’t there), has a terrible relationship with her mom and dad and gets upset when I go out for the weekend to hangout with my mom (father died horribly last year and she has been alone).
