What are the best exit ops/roles for an audit senior wanting good WLB/actual 40-45 max work weeks and strong PTO? The ~4 weeks of PTO + holidays are one of the biggest things keeping me at Deloitte, but I’d like a little less stress and a more steady schedule so I can have a life outside of work on normal days.

I currently work at a medium sized firm and have about two years experience in personal injury litigation. The billable hours and lack of work life balance are really getting to me and I am looking to switch to something else out of litigation, preferably in house. I am also looking to relocate to a different state. How do I go about properly marketing myself to companies that might not take my relocation and minimal experience seriously?

What do you do when you have so much work on your plate and so much pressure that it paralyzes you? A lot of mornings I work at a slower pace because I’m so overwhelmed.

What would you choose, Big 4 or T2 firms like GT or BDO?

I have been in Deloitte since ever and wanted to consider moving to other firms.
Does it necessarily have to be another Big4?

What are the advantages/disadvantages of moving to a Tier 2 firm?
