What are the conditions applicable for getting approval for a sabbatical? Is it possible to get? Does it put my job at risk?

I am planning to go through a major surgery soon and the rehabilitation period is about 6 months, though I should be able to get back to work (WFH) within 1-2 months.

Hey all, this could be excessive but I actually find the fitness side of things pretty easy, whereas the nutrition side is much more difficult to maintain long term. How would you all feel about nutrition check ins tracked with something like myfitnesspal? I generally tracks cals and protein, but find that if I stick to these I get absolutely ripped

One of my best friends growing up just passed away. We lost contact with each other a year or two after graduating high school and I recently came to learn he was was battling cancer the past 5 years and ultimately succumbed to the illness. He hid it well from everyone and led a very private life during it all. To make matters worse, he had just turned 25. Seeing pictures of the condition he was in towards the end of his fight broke my heart. I wish I had known so I could’ve been there for him.

Hello fellow SAP Consultants!
I am SAP HCM consultant having 4.10 years of experience. I feel that this module doesn’t have any growth. My first switch took me to 9LPA from 6LPA and now the second switch is being offered for 11.5LPA where I can see my fellow friends in SAP having more than 15LPA at the same experience on their second switch itself. Should I be worried about my skillset? Any insights would highly be appreciated. I feel stuck.

My dilemma:

I'm at a LMM investment bank. Can get crazy sometimes, but otherwise chill. Typically done around 7-9 pm, had maybe three 1 am nights. Haven't worked a weekend in over a month. Fridays almost always done at 5 pm.

Have an offer at a reputable MM bank but probably pretty sweaty. Worth the move?
