For anyone that works in PwC’s Cyber Risk & Regulatory - Enterprise Risk and Control Services practice, can you please provide detail about your day to day (workload, hrs, team, travel, etc) and experience so far? What opportunities does PwC offer outside of supporting financial audits within the practice. Thank you for the clarification in advance!

I’d say you have met and exceeded all necessary requirements! Message me if you want a Deloitte referral. I’m not in the group myself but work with them on a couple of my clients
It depends. They definitely travel to client sites on occasion, it seems to be a workforce where location isn’t an impact on hiring. The team on my main client has people on the team from CA FL OH TX WA. sometimes they travel in and are together on site, often they are all back at their respective home offices. That’s the team that I see most often. There are other people in the group in my office that I don’t think travel as much because they are on local clients/remote work
I can refer u to pwc
Same question as above - any idea how much travel the group has? Looking for a change
Requirements vary. What do you want to do, exactly? Client implementations, business analyst, tax subject matter expert, quality assurance, development? Where do you live and are you willing to relocate?
A little bit of everything to be honest. I’ve mentioned that to my current tech group and they were supportive, but they didn’t make it happen. I’m also given a lot of flexibility at my current position so I’m hoping to have that at DT or PwC once I prove myself. My ultimate goal is to come up with creative solutions to client/engagement team problems.
Our group is very comp sci focused
That’s all you need. DM me and I can refer you at Deloitte’s tmc practice!
Be mindful that it’s lots of travel and work
Thanks everyone. Is one firm better than the other when it comes to tech?
Opening a discussion here. Are you? Lol
I feel it’s on kind of work you are looking for. Alteryx practice is bigger at pwc, but oracle and sap practices are huge at Deloitte. So pick what you feel is right for you!
also if you know python well, then don’t stay in accounting. Go to analytics companies, they pay way more (~120k for associates) and the experience is much better than automating excel data for tax people!
