Hey friends, I’ve taken on our agencies community manager as a mentee, and am working with her to help her navigate working her way to becoming a Strategist. I’m developing a curriculum for her, but I was curious what things you wish you knew as your were starting your path in strategy, as well as what resources/books/influential thinkers you’d recommend me integrating into it? Thanks in advance!!
I was asked by a friend for a few management consultant books (similar to liar's poker in the finance industry) to check out. The only one I can think of is Peter Drucker's Adventures of a Bystander (good but not too much consulting)... any suggestions! 😁

Fellow 🐠 in MBB - there is a belief in a few consultants that being a part of MBB is the main goal at any cost. Being on the inside and having seen, through this application or your networks, what other firms do, do you think this belief is healthy? Would you consider your work to be just as enjoyable at another firm? If not, where do you think other firms fall shy of the MBB.
Discussion post: I feel almost all consulting firms are the same. Mbb, big 4 etc. if you are paid enough there is probably less wlb. If there is good wlb there is not much money. Can you single out a company that you can confidently say pays very well and also has good wlb and also has good opportunities etc.?
