Oribe dry texturizing spray. It’s dry shampoo. it’s light hairspray. It doesn’t smell weird or leave a trace. I can’t believe I spend $49 on a hairspray.
Cheap:
- aquaphor (use on my lips everyday, on my hands and nails, feet, even sometimes on my body and face when it’s very dry)
- embryolisse lait crème concentré (also super versatile, use as a moisturizer or remove makeup or face mask if you apply a thicker layer, it never disappoints)
Expensive:
- enzyme cleanser from Dr Barbara Sturm
- major fade line by Dr Shereen Idriss, truly amazing
Strivectin for eye care🤩
Skinfix Barrier+ Peptide cream. If you have dry skin it’s worth every penny. They also have a lighter weight gel cream too.
Oh! I've been curious to try this. Now would be a perfect time. My skin is so dry in the winter!
I just use Kiehl's products from moisturizers to retinol and serums. I really don't wear make up everyday because I have the tendency to break out. I would usually apply tinted sunscreen and tints. I like the Shiseido Sports BB SPF 50+ and I can go for any brand of tints.
I love the Garnier three and one all mattifying cleanser. I actually use it everyday for a face wash and it's no rinse and the best part about it is it reduces your oiliness if you got super oily skin by a bunch. I actually had a lot of breakouts all over my skin that I had a hard time dealing with and after I started with the cleanser they disappeared for the most part. I still have a few breakouts every month on my cycle days but they are so much smaller than they used to be.
Olaplex hair oil and ColorWOW’s Dream Coat
I use Elemis as my expensive option and Purity as my less expensive option.
I’ve splurged on the Augustinus Bader products and I love them. I wanted to hate them so bad to return them, but they are worth the money. I feel my face tightening especially the eye cream. I don’t wear foundation now, just mascara and a little blush.

I don’t know if it’s a splurge per se but I swear by Youth to the People products.
$48 for 2 of Dream Mask (nighttime moisturizer): https://www.youthtothepeople.com/skincare/superberry-hydrate-glow-dream-mask/YTTP-12200.html?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI-KKy2r3w_AIVef_jBx3RMQhyEAAYASAAEgIyXfD_BwE
I use several of their products
I usually get all o f my products as cheap as possible from Target or Walmart, but my hairdresser introduced me to Redken's Frizz Dismiss Smooth Force Leave-In Conditioner Spray & I can't get enough. They stopped selling it at the salon, so now I go to Ulta to get it! :)
Good Molecules skincare products. Affordable and good quality.
I like the clinique acne solutions foam cleanser, anything drunk elephant (especially the polypeptide cream). Nyx brow glue, urban decay all nighter setting spray, fresh lip mask. Lastly, the l’oréal lash paradise waterproof mascara, bobbi brown vitamin enriched face base.
DRUNK ELEPHANT! I have the moisturizer & night serum. Adding the ordinary niacinamide + zinc… my skin has been so clear & beautiful!! OR splurge on some perfume!!
Agree, so worth it!
Sunday Riley Good Genes all in one Lactic Acid treatment and Lancôme Advanced Génifique Youth Activating serum
I'm in my 30s now so it's about time I splurge on a good sunscreen. I recently bought EltaMD UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46. It's lightweight and hydrating!
I changed some of my skincare products after getting pregnant. I used to have retinol or retinoid in my routine but now I got rid of it and the Naturium Azelaic Topical Acid 10% is a great alternative for expecting moms like me.
Who doesn't love Drunk Elephant? I'm in love with their Drunk Elephant C-Firma Fresh Day Serum. My skin never looked this good!
I'm the biggest fan of Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Multi-Recovery Complex. This product probably has everything I need from a skincare product.
This is one of my recent skincare splurge: SkinCeuticals Phloretin CF with Ferulic Acid. This is best for those who have oily-acne-prone skin like me. So far, so good.
