Tata Consultancy I am a manager in Capgemini... have an offer frm TCS. the designation being offered is Assistant Consultant.. 9.8 years experience( 5 yrs with Cap) Even though I am getting a package of 25Lakhs.. it seems like a demotion in designation.. Cg has offered to match upto 23.5 lakhs.. Is it worth moving to TCS on this grade? My primary reason for moving out of Cg is i m bored of beauocracy and WLB at current project. Is it a good idea to still switch with the counter offer from Cg Capgemini Tata Consu

Your missing the top option, EY. Sure, biased, but in nearly every “best place to work for” we rate higher than all 3, (usually in top 10) and also rate higher than all 3 by analysts for our breadth and depth in SC. Our culture is second to none. Comp likely could see some improvement but I’ve not tested the market in 10 years.
Strongly recommend staying away from Accenture, the culture is terrible. I dread those that come from there because most take it with them when they leave.

I’m now at Accenture and was at EY previously. I haven’t found anything to dislike here that wasn’t also present at EY. I enjoyed the people at EY but also work with a ton of great folks at Accenture.
The same subjectivity in annual performance exists both places; the same reliance on offshore to make deals cost competitive; the same slinging templated starting points as unique expertise for a given project.
EY brands it’s internal audit practice as “risk consulting” to intentionally sucker naive kids looking for “consulting” jobs, who eventually get pissed when they realize what their real job is. So that’s not exactly something a best place to work should have to do to attract talent.
I find it funny every time someone chimes in like this, as if their anecdotal observations can be extrapolated across a population of 500k people.
The real answer is it varies by supply chain function (i.e. planning, sourcing and procurement, manufacturing, logistics), sector (technology, transport, diversified manufacturing, retail), and type of consulting (strategy, process improvement and technology). No one is going to be the best across the board but there is probably a weighted winner. If you are interested in one of these firms, you might consider who is the best for the space you want to play in.
For SCM, either go ACN or go boutique or solution provider professional services (like Manhattan Associates). B4 supply chain is all SAP/Oracle system integration
You are sadly mistaken my friend. Clearly you don’t work in this space or maybe that is the way it is at PWC, but def not at EY. Maybe 10% of SC work is related to systems integration. We have entire SAP/Oracle practices that deal with the nuts and bolts.

In the UK at least, they are all top ranked by clients (the FT is by client ratings).
Accenture is top due to alphabetical ranking.
Personally, given how much tech supply chain projects need nowadays, I think us at Accenture have an edge. It’s not just about boring pricing arguments anymore. But I’m sure big 4 do an excellent job.
As much as I hate to admit it.. probably D. I am at Accenture currently
I worked at both Accenture and Deloitte. Honestly, in the supply chain space the two companies are very comparable. Accenture has a stronger offshore capability and is easier to navigate globally. Deloitte does a better job of linking Finance to Supply Chain and seeing the bigger picture beyond ERP. But the full suite of capabilities and strong leadership exist at both places.
Why am I at Deloitte now is based on the fact that I love working for and being an owner in a private partnership. Different discussion.
Accenture, but I’m biased. I interviewed with PWC and chose Accenture over them. PWC is not as strong in the space as either ACN or Deloitte.
