Also, you just gave an example of person who was not stigmatized, went through a process over three years and not given hormonal treatment until 18. In the end she figured it out for her self.

We should be focused on curing gender dysphoria, not chemically messing with kids. I mean, remember when they used to chemically castrate gay people? What’s happening today is similar and is abusive. Let’s fix the root cause - whether that’s in vitro or afterwards.

There’s nothing to “cure” with gay people. Gay people don’t need medical treatments to live a healthy and happy life because they are gay.

It’s a complicated issue that I don’t think we fully understand yet.
If a parent signs off on it then my feeling is go for it, not child abuse. Not sure where you draw the line if that’s child abuse. I’d argue feeding your obese child McDonald’s is just as bad if you view the procedure itself as destructive.
I draw the line at a child making the decision on their own without parental consent. Don’t think that should be allowed.
From a political standpoint I don’t know why conservatives bother with this. It just feeds the trolls

Does giving a 9-year-old a book on gender identity for no reason other than to proactively self-diagnose gender dysphoria, then prescribing puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones seem dangerous? Yes.
