Hi All,
I joined Tech Mahindra for 5 days only and didn't find suitable timing for my project and emailed resignation mail to manager and HR. After that HR asked me to resign over portal but at the same time blocked my portal. After requesting many times they didn't unblock my portal and pretended like they want to unblock but there is some issue going on and marked my profile absconded. I have cleared fnf but they are not providing reliving letter but added pf amount also. What to do?

A1 - calm down. Sounds like OP is asking about a job posting, if you don’t have something helpful to say then don’t say it or at least frame it a bit more nicely (“it’s hard to give details without a service line, is there one you’re looking at”)
How funny it is that you dun even mention the team / service line / functions and expect people to just throw out a number
Well I'm only asking in terms of a general sense. The title was so vague so what does a "senior analyst" usually do

Post the link of the role here and let us help you
Sr Analyst is a corporate title, it means nothing other than junior (2-3 years experience give or take). Function/Group matters a lot more and the difference is fairly high between different roles on salaries and job content.
No straight answer an FX trading analyst learns something completely different than an IBD analyst who learns something completely different than an Ops analyst and so on…
Also don't forget that Analyst in IBD = bottom of the totem pole, and Analyst in ER = top dog. Though I'm not sure if the term Senior Analyst exists in the latter, definitely doesn't in the former.
@OP, he means Analyst/Senior Analyst in ER is equivalent to MD in Consulting
To provide context, a friend who I don't talk to anymore set up a new position on linkedin as senior analyst at goldman so was just curious to know what they generally do
A few possibilities:
1) if on the investment side, senior analysts are the ones creating the models and decks for MDs, maybe watching over junior analysts. Typical salary is probably 180-225k TC (including bonus)
2) if they are in some back end role, probably less, 120-150k TC
3) I don't know anything about equity research
It sounds like you're trying to compare this dudes salary with your own. It is likely that he probably makes more than you but his hours are also likely a lot worse.
Totally not true. Of course there are non IB analysts making less than $100k at GS and every other bank. I’d argue that’s it’s prob most of them
