Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon

ADHD folk here. I was in denial for a while but finally got diagnosed a few years back. For CPA I found traditional Becker, etc doesn’t work for me. I’d be very motivated for a little and get ahead on all those lessons but get busy one week and forget it exists. Then ED wouldn’t let me try to catch up because I knew I’d log in to see all those “behind assignment” warnings. When I stopped trying to force my ND brain to study like others I succeeded. 1) I would go a broad section of my choice and did a bunch of MCQ and when I get wrong I read explanations carefully and then redo problem in my head. 2) emphasis on section of my choice bc of low serotonin I know forcing to study a topic I’m not feeling at the moment won’t work 3) I watch videos on 1.5/2x speed bc easier to get in the zone and stay focused only slowing if I am working problem out along w instructor 4) only watch the videos if I keep getting related MCQ wrong 5) only read book when after videos couldn’t make sense of certain things 6) schedule exams 6 weeks out. I’m all or nothing so need the deadline right there to motivate 7) dont be a perfectionist you don’t need to know everything 8) if you haven’t taken one yet but you followed 1-7 don’t move the exam no matter how underprepared you feel. Just take it and let yourself know it’s okay to fail and it’ll be good to benchmark where you’re at (i did that with FAR and passed so maybe you’ll surprise yourself too).
Such a great answer!
Are you self diagnosing or prescribed a medication?
I am also a career changer, later in my life. I have not been diagnosed with ADHD, but have had a stroke. Through all my Neuro testing my brain is low-normal. I guess I used to be really smart🫤. Now, as I study for CPA, I am like the dog from UP! (Going along, then a squirrel goes by and runs after, then gets back in line and it happens again.) That is my brain, I study along then look around and decide to clean kitchen, then get back to studies, then make a snack, back again, mind wanders.
