I stopped contributing to my 401K for the last three months in order to pay off credit card debt. I am 28 and have about 68K in my 401K. Was this a smart decision? I want to get out of debt as quickly as possible and I have no student loans or car debt.

I am trying to do a backdoor roth but have about 60k sitting in traditional IRAs. I also currently live in NYC, would it be best to rollover everything into 401k, then do backdoor?

Is moving from Seattle worth it? I've heard the freeze is still in affect in Portland but I'm more worried about prices. I WFH mostly and pull down like 120k a year, Seattle is getting crazy expensive rent wise and crazy full. I'd like to find somewhere new but stick to the PNW.

Lease ends October 31 but no news from landlord on renewing. Currently paying $500/month less than market in my area due to a sweet COVID deal. Buying a house with monthly expense of $4900, although my current rent is only $2350. My total HHI with my husband is about $310K. I’m feeling weary of spending this much but we live in a HCOL area near a major city and we have high taxes. It’s hard to find anything decent under $800K. When to sell at a loss?
