I took the job as a GAS, because I had been laid off by IPG last summer thanks to losing Pfizer biz. I had great great interviews w/RFH, yet something was off with the person I’d be reporting to. And finally, the recruiter agreed to one number for compensation, but then it dropped way down when I was categorized as “remote” because of where I live in relation to the closest office, west village. I took it anyway, turns out for all the wrong reasons.

What is your job title? As it right now I’m managing a team of product owners and I’m unofficially being called “Chief Product Owner.” I’m in the process of working with a coach to get my resume updated so I can begin applying for external roles. But I don’t even know what job titles to target.

Currently interviewing for a role at Amazon that is listed as a CW position, but I have direct experience in the product and capabilities this role is seeking, and the hiring manager is moving me forward. What is the likelihood that if I tried to negotiate from a CW to FTE, I would get the position?

When you’ve put in a lot of hard-work as a developer on a great project and received the best performance award but compensation has been same since Day 1…and have completed 2 years in the company. Furthermore no signs of compensation going up…Is it the best time to leave or stay? Additionally too many management changes have taken place that everything feels out of place.
