Talk to your OMP about if there was a business need and then they will run it through to HR if there’s something y’all can agree on. I would be prepared to take a pay cut and possibly pay more for benefits or lose some all together
You’ll still be expected to work some overtime. If you go to 50%, you’d be expected to work half of whatever your busy season requirement is for 50% of your pay now. I think it is doable but you have to be good at setting boundaries.
