What does it look like for someone who has been out of consulting for the past 2 years who is considering returning? COVID layoff that turned into an extended personal sabbatical. Masters degree, banking/finance, digital PM, last level was Manager. Not interested in the weekly M-F travel routine, but willing to travel 50%. Pre-COVID being out that long would have made it really difficult, but I’ve been seeing the need for people lately.

Leaving soon for brand management role in CPG which I’m really excited about but curious if this will close the door to opportunities (product marketing, non technical product manager) in tech in the future. Really interested in the brand management role but if I end up not liking it the comp trajectory is not nearly as good as tech and wanted to know if that door will still be open. 2YOE, if I make a switch would likely be at 4-5YOE assuming I don’t go MBA route

They're offering me a good package with so many career benifits like an onsite, opportunity, certification n good technology exposure. Another offer frm a reputed comp a tier 1 comp not an expectd package n benefits.
Few of my frnds are suggested if i choose a small company my opportunities in future will narrow down when compared to a reputed. Pls can someone help here?

I started a full time in-house design job that pays extremely well. I barely have to work at all. This makes me very confused since I kept hearing stories of people working 60+ hr weeks as designers at ad agencies. I am not complaining, but I have this creeping irrational feeling that I’ll get fired for not working even though there’s nothing for me to do. Should i be making up projects or asking for more work? Or just chill out? I just feel very confused. Are a lot of full time jobs like this?
