Pay for the premium Linked In for a couple months and contact people directly at the companies that have positions you're interested in. It worked for me.
My guess is it means you haven't cultivated relationships in your current position to help you land the next role
I think the issue may be the level; a lot of agencies I've talked to have cut back on recruitment staff for more junior levels and expect you to use your network to get you the next placement. Suggest connecting up with former colleagues and checking the individual agency careers sites for vacancies
No referral, no dice. Go to LinkedIn and beg, borrow and steal for an intro to friends of friends at your target agencies. If you are too shy to put yourself out like that, you won't make it in the age where HR gets 200 random resumes a day.
Chop off your fingers and send them attached to notes saying "I'm committed to your agency" this will only work ten times so pick wisely
Does your CV have an illustration of Hello Kitty on it?
Working with a recruiter?
What do you think it could be? What's your reputation? Why are you unemployed if you are? Be very honest with yourself.
Means you are like most people. But it also probably means you are not listening to what the hiring organization wants. Tailor your resume to those strengths you have that correspond specifically to each job.
Bad timing or it's just you if there was no call back after the initial HR screening
No Hello Kitty illustrations, and recruiters say they don't recruit for the positions I'm applying to. Honestly I dont have any clue what it could be and I'm employed so that's not an issue.
I had a former colleague take my resume and she veru candidly and honestly said, your resume sucks, do these things to make it better and ill be happy to pass it forward from there. I revised it and took her feedback into consideration. Never got a callback from that agency but I used the mew resume and changed my LinkedIn to match the same format, tone, style, pwrsonality and immediately started getting more interviews and eventually a new job. TLDR; ask someone you trust to give you honest feedback on your resume itself and revise accordingly.
Talk to a recruiter. It's the one thing their truly focused on.
It means stop applying
Means apply 6 diffrent ways to same position because they always ignore the first 5 and never relize u applied 6 times.
How long have you been applying for? How many positions have you applied for thus far? Without any data and short of actually looking at your resume and how it stacks against the positions you're applying for, it's very hard to tell. But these things take time and you have to manage what maybe some unrealistic expectations you have?
How long have you been with your company?
Agree with all the linked in advice. Premium is worth every penny. You have to be creative with getting your profile seen by recruiters - even when you're not looking for a job. Timing is everything. Don't only apply when you're out of a job. Meet up with people from the agencies you like!
