That doesn't sound like a match - a match is usually some function of whatever you contribute (like 50% of whatever you contribute, up to a maximum of 6% of your Compensation). Is everyone getting the same contribution/% of compensation or does it depend on what you put in?
I’ll probably get 15K, 7.5% of my TC for the year.
We get 7.5% contribution from the firm, not a match. Something they automatically pay us.
Rising Star
100% match up to 6% at Accenture
Chief
7.5% of TC deposited into 401k, no vest
167% up to 6%… yes, your read that right!
Example: I put $500 a month and Mastercard gets me extra $835 so I end up with $1,335 each month depsite only contributing $500.
Mastercard is the best tbh.
Niceee
4,000
$8.16k which is 100% match on 6%
Rising Star
A - 3%
SA - 4%
M - 5%
SM & D - 6%
So an SM would be getting 7.5% of their salary in a retirement plan assuming they put in 6%. If they put in 0%, they still get 6%.
Doesn’t hold a candle to what some are offered, but when you get to the higher pay of SM & D, I’d have to imagine this adds up pretty quick.
Is it a small firm? Sounds like more of that’s what they need to give you to pass non discrimination testing
Pro
I think mine is $10,500. Certain % of TC that is capped at that - pay it all on 12/31 though so the year you leave you get nada.
Usually it’s a % not an actual dollar amount
.... wow we have it pretty good
Yea. MBB benefits are wildly better than other firms
