I am also given the week after Xmas off. if my toddlers are sick I can work at home with them. Interviewing w fortune 500 that offers 15 pto days that have to use for sick days too.Strictly in office job 9-5 and dress bus.prof. These bad benefits? Outdated culture?I am a seasoned professional. Seems tough.

Huron is a 100% match up to 6%. Pretty good.
@OP bull shit you make $165 k as an SC at Booz.
But for this thread, 6% match is nice, nothing special but nice
Oh, never mind, that’s legit
Mine has no match, just contributes 9%. vesting: 3 years 100%
Also keep in mind you lose the match at Booz if you leave before December 31st.
It used to be different. Then they came up with this new rule. I'm sure it's been good for the company's coffers.
Just 10% automatically and upto 1.5% match
Deloitte 401(k) sucks.... pension too ...if you are not PPMD
Too embarrassed to post. Thank you for your understanding.
I am new to EY and I think its 401k is terrible. Matching .25 of first 6%.. starting after one year, and it is vested after two years. I worked at Deloitte when I was much younger and I only cared about the signing bonus and salary.
Cliffed 401k vesting on 6% is worthless for a consulting company. Certainly won’t be useful as a retention tool, but I guess it saves you some money
6% match starting 1 year after start date beginning on cycle of Jan 1 or Jul 1, 100% vested 2yrs from start date.
No match, just 10% automatically
The firm does not match.
Wow, that’s pretty shocking
i.e. it just put additional x% of your salary in your 401k without your contribution.
Our company (small firm) is planning on doing a 6% match with the following vesting schedule for years 1-3: 25%, 25%, and 50%. Thoughts?
I would look into the cost of immediate vesting. Personally, retirement matches are a major factor for me
With the 6% I save, plus the 6% match, I have a projected income of $20k a month. That’s a pretty great perk. Even better for those with 9% deposited with no contribution
All Publicis agencies: 50% match up to max. So your $18,000/yr contribution becomes $27,000
@BCG1 I agree
It’s brilliant too because if you’re an SA and up or in Commercial, you’ll lose your bonus if you leave anytime before June
I just got an industry offer that matched up to 6% at 2 & 1/7 percent, its awesome but it’s such a weird structure
