Received this beauty yesterday….. 😍

So I just recently passed my CPA exams and I’m now looking for new opportunities. I’m hoping to work at a big 4 firm in tax and possibly connect with anyone working there right now. Please reach out to me, I would look forward to connecting and learning more about potential opportunities. Thanks!EY PwC Deloitte KPMG

Proper would be to tell the new agency you are booked until end of June. If your current work load is light you might be able to work something out but I’d be honest with both places. Highly unlikely they’d be open though unless you’re hourly or an IC.
If you don’t mind burning a bridge then you could just quit. They could terminate your employment just as easily. There is no “two week notice” required.
Or if your current boss is chill she/he might realize that you’ve done the heavy lifting and someone more junior could take over at this stage. Especially if they don’t have anything else they could put you on.
I typically just suck it up. Finish the gig. Pass on the other because something else will come up.
Thanks for the advice.
Agree. Sort of. If you have some hours available between now and end of June you could offer the new agency those hours until you could start FT. If they know they are second fiddle until then/may not be able to make all meetings, they may be ok with you working nights and weekends for them until then. Just be honest. Not sure you need to tell current agency unless you will be dipping out on them or not able to deliver as you have been. But if you can- go for it. All these full time salaries folks saying they have 2 remote jobs and everyone is rooting for them, why not you?
