What is the deal with Chief? The private network for women in leadership. I see it blowing up on LinkedIn. What are the benefits?

I have not heard of a private network for women in leadership on LinkedIn called Chief. It sounds like they need some strong male support to get the marketing up and running.

/s if it wasn’t obvious…

funny

It is just a way for the women that started it to make money. Has ZERO relevance or impact. - female perspective

Sorry, I do not. I haven’t spent any time on it given I feel it is of no value.

funny

It’s just an arbitrary title FB decided to give to people like us who spend too much time on this god forsaken app.

Talking about this https://chief.com

They provide coaching that are more tailored towards executive level women and provide networking groups. They also have coworking spots in key cities that can be rented out at a low cost. It’s not cheap from what I’ve been told but because it is for executive women, a lot of companies sponsor the memberships.

Hi Fishes,
I have overall experience of 5yrs. Out of which 3years for US healthcare and 2 years for US mortgage. US mortgage domain has now become thinner as industry almost sunk since most of the companies has laid off employees, I was also the victim. Fortunately, got an opportunity to work Optum but heard rumours about the lay-off in our entire process which is creating a frustration and negativity all around. Please refer me if there's any relevant opening in backhend operations. Thanks!

Good morning!

Still trying to figure out this whole Fishbowl thing, so here goes my first post.

I would love to get into provider credentialing, but all employers I've looked at want at least 3 years of experience. So, I'm looking at Provider Network Coordinator roles, because I'm finding some of those roles don't need AS MUCH experience. I'm a RHIT, and have been working in healthcare for nearly 10 years.

Any input on employers is appreciated!

I've worked at the same engineering firm for 4 years. I'm currently making $161k with only a $750 bonus, but excellent vacation (4 weeks, cash out anytime, rolls over indefinitely), 45 hours a week. I have an interview with a recruiter at Guidehouse this week for a Technical Project Manager role. It seems to be focused in the government space and requires a security clearance. What sort of salary and benefits could I expect for this sort of role at Guidehouse?

I am currently at a firm and received an in-house offer. Aside from main items like comp and big ticket benefits like PTO/health insurance/401k, what other items do I need to think about discussing/negotiating? For example, fees to keep bar licensure, professional association fees, CLEs, etc. I feel like there is so much on that end I currently take for granted being covered at my firm. Anything else I should consider?
