How do I get a job as a Mechanical Engineer if I dont have experience?

I couldn’t get an internship while in school. I have a BS in ME and projects from school under my belt. I’ve also passed the FE exam. I’ve been mostly just doing CAD for a company for the last year by creating minimally dimensioned drawings and moving parts around in assemblies. I want to evolve in my career and be doing more. I worked so hard to earn my degree and I feel like I’m not even using it. But who will hire me?

Is it easy for engineers to become TPMs?

Can someone help me transition from advisory to IFS?

I’m thinking about transitioning to In-House from a big law firm where I practice Employee Benefits. Will employers consider me without the typical “corporate” or “litigation” experience?

My current company has been acquired and is under going restructuring and lots of exits from past management.

2 yrs exp post MBA and 2 yrs before that as an engineer (non IT/CS)

Current: Finance and product analyst.
Skills: Ms Excel, Excel dashboards, SQL server, Jira, tableau.

Need some guidance on where and what roles I can apply.

Has anyone ever left Chubb to go to Liberty or Travelers for commercial or middle market underwriting or even a sales rep role? If so, how do you like it? Came from The Hartford and love Chubb so far, but curious to see what else is out there.

First-year tax staff that started end of Q3, and just had my first year-end performance evaluation meeting. Just curious to how my firms (wealth management/bank/trust) comp compares with others out there. I received a promotion earlier this year from an Investment Advisor, AVP to Senior Investment Advisor, VP and moved from $110K to $140K ($130 salary + $10K discretionary bonus) all in. By meeting expectations in 2 pay cycles, the base bumps up to $175K + bonus. Grown in this role over about 10 years with the same firm, MBA + CFA; top 10 city and living comfortably as dual income household.
