Well, don't judge me. Since you ask, I'd lean towards a position with a higher salary. Don't get me wrong, titles are nice, but at the end of the day, it's the paycheck that helps pay my bills and fund the lifestyle of my choice. A higher salary not only reflects your worth and the value you bring to the table but also provides a bit more financial flexibility.
I’d pick higher salary. I could use a little more money to hit our savings goal. What would you choose?
I would go for the higher salary. I don't really care about moving up the ladder in a company. I use my salary as a tool for a better life.
Title. In the long run, that's what matters. Even if you don't have the salary now, if you get the hire ranking title, you can leverage it when you apply somewhere else and get the title and the salary.
