Go Blue! Are you in Ross, Psych, or Org Studies?
As someone who did Ross with an HR emphasis, I highly suggest AGAINST going into pure HR, especially in this economy. If you really love human capital go with Human Capital Consulting.
Specifically for UMich consider doing the SI minor for technical skills that’s easier than the CS minor.
Organizational Behavior/Psychology, Business, etc. It really depends on what your HR program focuses on. Honestly, it doesn't seem like minors really matter that much in my experience

I guess it would depend on your career interests. Are you more interested in recruiting or other facets of HR? HR companies have sales reps who sling software like paycome, workday etc. All depends on what your vision is.

I would say communications
A minor in business would be a great compliment to a HR degree. The coursework would give you a strong foundation in the basics of running a company, from financial planning to human resources management. This knowledge would be invaluable as you enter the workforce and begin your career in HR.
Also think about whether your HR degree is an HR focus of a business degree, or more an HR focused Psych degree, etc. and try to get a more well-rounded education by minoring in something else
I took communications while my other workmates took psychology. Even business administration course will do or sociology. What area of Human resource are you really interested in?
