I’m an ERISA consultant for Marsh providing 3(21) and 3(38) services. I am interested in learning the opinion of in house counsel. Is it a priority in 2022 to outsource or mitigate fiduciary liability in light of the excessive fee lawsuits hitting employers? Would a trustee committee for a 401k plan hire a third party cofiduciary to share that risk? Lastly, what additional compensation should the 5500 signor receive when asked to be the trustee for a retirement plan?

During Bosch HR round, I've conveyed my salary expectations. The HR for once, didn't argue the figure quoted. Instead just said, that the offer would be released post approval from business head.

Now, I've filled in firststeps portal details as well. When should I expect the offer to be released? And how frequently should i follow up with the recruiter?
Also, does not countering my demands of requisite salary mean that they'll provide the figure I've asked for?. Kindly suggest.

Hadn’t noticed this sub before, and most of the threads are old so thought I’d ask a follow up - how has everyone been handling parenting with public accounting? I’ve got a toddler and my wife is an accountant (industry), and we only have a few immediate family in the country- but they have health concerns. I traditionally was brought up in my career where PM type tasks were handled by lower level AMs. I have observed separating AM and PM tasks into two separate departments just causes communication issues and lazy account people. Account people should have a good understanding of how much effort and time goes into a project. Project Managers are missing a lot of context so blind leading blind.
