The new company I’m at now sent me an email from an email address that was HR@companyName.careers saying I was accepted for the position. They gave me paperwork to fill out and sign to accept the position
I fill out the paperwork and send it back to them and it goes through… then a few days later I go back to the email to say something else and I get this…?
Then today I got a check from the company In the mail to setup my home office, and it’s signed by someone I’ve never met before or heard of…?

Guys, my friend had her last working day last week and she thinks she forgot to fill her timesheet for her last 2 days before handing over the laptop. What can be the consequences of this? She is really worried about this
P.S she belongs to a back end team serving the firm internally charging time on only one code.

Uplift desk. https://www.upliftdesk.com
Thank you all! I read somewhere that quality of the motor should be a factor when buying standing desk. Did uplift meet that from your experience?
Glad you asked. That was my main concern as well. I tried the vari desk once at my brother in laws and bought it shortly after because of how stable it was. After almost two years of use I can say that I have no wobble issues or any issues for that matter, and it’s the larger one. Only downside is that it got even more expensive since two years ago like everything else. But vari desk all the way.
Mentor
So far I’ve had no issues with the motor or anything else on my vari desk. The ones at my husband’s company are (mostly) the larger L-shaped ones and they’ve had zero issues.
DeskHaus is the way. About the same price as competitors but much sturdier. They have YouTube videos comparing other desks and the wobble at standing height.
Also nice to support an American company. I ended up with a JWIN from Amazon due to costs
I have the fully Jarvis and love it
Thank you both! I read somewhere that quality of the motor should be a factor when buying standing desk. Did Jarvis meet that from your experience?
IKEA standing desk frame + their butcher block
Yeah you drill the screws in - 4 screws. I didn’t Epoxy the surface. Super easy took me an hour but you’ll need someone to help you flip it. Also get the larger size 72”…really nice.
Buy a kit from Amazon and a tabletop you like. Much cheaper and more customizable.
TOPSKY Dual Motor Electric Adjustable Standing Computer Desk for Home and Office (Black Frame only) https://a.co/d/7oJnDF9
Yup, I have this frame (it has two motors) and it supports an ultra wide and secondary monitor no problem. And yes you just drill holes in the bottom of the tabletop, the frame comes with screws. I got my top from IKEA.
The Costco Tresanti standing desk has been phenomenal. My only complaint is that it’s not long enough for paperwork and dual monitors, but I just bought a simple table for the printer and paperwork and made an L-shape with my setup.
