When I studied FAR this year, I did all MCQ, but no SIM cuz I didn't have time... My tip is to put together a "cheat sheet" in excel while you're going through the materials. Search the heavily tested topic on Reddit, and pay extra attention to them, do more questions in these topics. definitely do the simulated exams at least a week prior to your exam date. but don't get beat down by the Becker score cuz their questions are way harder. my Becker SE score is always around 66, and i passed with a 81 after two months study. On the night before your exam, review your cheat sheet. On the exam date, use excel for calculation MCQ, especially bond/interest questions cuz sometimes you can just copy/paste the formula for other questions. Good luck!
I’m pretty sure that’s only the case of the first lecture. Look through all the modules, you’ll see that the lectures are shorter with an hour + lecture every so often.
Also, if I remember correctly the first lecture is FAR is to go over super high level general accounting concepts. If you have trouble understanding that good luck with the rest of FAR, you are going to need it.
Thankfully, I haven't had too much trouble so far. (haha, pun) it's just been work getting through so many lectures without the questions in between. I'm going to keep on going through it. Thanks! :)
