Credential is MBA and PhD and 3 YOE post MBA. I’m assuming there is a discount compared to Pharma but is that true? I am thinking base + expected bonus should be at least $210k. Right now, severance pkg. and a more senior title are most important. Has anyone negotiated a title bump? Outcome?

What do you guys think about this? I would be able to predict based on your firm(mbb, big4), your experience, which role you are likely to move (Faang pm, strategy manager, move to mbb). I have all the data to do this, but wanted your thoughts. Would the output of this be relevant to you?

Last week I had to explain to my child what “politics” (as in office politics) is. My child is going to a new high school and wants to play volleyball. There was a 3 day open “tryout” for incoming freshman for 2 teams. After the first day, she noticed that
1) there were obvious favorites (coaches are not even hiding that fact);
2) some can’t even play and got on the team,
3) some that can obviously play but did not get on the team;
