Has anyone moved from FDD to Strategy? I have an offer for FDD but long term goal is to break into strategy. Don’t want to have to get an MBA unless it’s firm sponsored…and FDD is easier to get in compared to Strategy

Is it just me or does it seem like everyone in FDD is in for the long long haul? I remember in audit everyone would talk about quitting or how they're only going to do audit for a few years to get experience and then leave. I'm not really seeing the same in TS. Just my observation.

I have been looking at the curriculums for Harvard Business School's Master of Business Administration and Harvard Extension School's Master's in Management. They both have the same requirements, generally speaking, including a field immersion course that serves as a capstone in the Master's in Management, which is fairly new. If I am not able to gain admission to Harvard Business School, but wanted a similar educational experience to become a consultant, should I attend Harvard Extension?

So something crazy happened to me last week. I was at the airport, and as usual on call after call. The check in line was going ridiculously slowly and at some point turned threw my hands up in frustration while looking around to find another place to check in. In doing so, I catch the eye of the behind me. He smiles and says something. I just sort of nod and carry on with my call. I had a behavioral interview with a manager from another team and a case study with the hiring manager. They both took notes as I gave my answers but the first manager was very disinterested from the get go and was distracted as he kept looking away from the screen.
