Hi guys ,
I am in a US project in Accenture. We have long calls in the night timings. My other teammate has backed out saying she won't attend any calls as she got some medical condition so she won't attend long calls which extend till 9:30.Other teammate is a junior. The managers are expecting me to join all the calls. No help I am getting. And they all being Tamil, I think some partiality is going on between them.Even our onsite lead is of no use.She expects me to attend long calls.
What should I do .pls suggest?

Dress with a blazer. No hose. Heels or flats whichever you prefer
Always wear a suit
Please don't wear a suit.
Wrap dress. Doesn't seem as stuffy but should fit in.
I'd still wear a jacket, but something that is clearly not part of a suit.
Yeah I was thinking low to mid heels and a dress with a nice purse
And btw I don't see how this is any less of a question than the million posts about backpacks and handbags.
a3 nailed it: wrap dress for sure #dvf
Dominatrix outfit
Skirt, flats, bare legs. Basically the same as suited, minus jacket, heels, and hose.
A nice sweater. Some of them are longer and look very nice without being stuffy.
Black suit with color top for a pop of color. Even if it's business casual you want to impress. First impressions always count
No I can't wear a suit - they specifically stressed no suits - the guy who interviewed before me wore a suit for round 3 and was eliminated - the wrong first impression. This is in Palo Alto
Just wear a formal dress with heels . Be professional and roll with it .
But keep the heels to medium length . You don't wanna look like you going to a party 👀
The only time I've ever been complimented on my shoes in the Bay Area is when I wore Toms (flats or wedges, not the regular Toms).
How is this a real question from someone in consulting?... Also I highly doubt someone was eliminated just based on the fact he wore a suit.
What do you mean A4? He was eliminated - he met with the CEO who was turned off by the fact that the guy didn't read their culture properly Cultural fit is a big deal for this company.
Agree on OP's last post. Clients eliminate us too based that.
If the culture is clearly "no suits" then I would agree with the dress and jacket approach. You still want to look nice and presentable.
