What’s a reasonable salary range for Sr. Associate (IT Audit) position in Industry in LA?

What is the appropriate amount of time to follow up with a company after they've verbally told you they would be giving you an offer? I don't want to look desperate as I know that's not great for salary negotiation but it's been a week and I really want to follow up!

Is your company providing market correction in the software and analytics domain this year?
If yes, then what is the percentage increase ?
I have heard companies giving 20 to 50% increment on the name of market correction in both service as well as product based companies (for software and analytics profile)
