Advice: my firm incentivized associates to get licensed in fed courts - 4 fed courts for a 5k raise. They also covered the admission fee. I just accepted an offer with another firm and will be putting in my 2 weeks notice tomorrow. Is it wrong to submit an expense report for the charges I incurred related to the fed court admission fees? I didn’t plan on moving to another firm; the new firm sought me out and made me an offer - the process happened so fast. I want to be professional about this.

I am currently expecting, have informed my team. Since the organisation is in hybrid mode, when discussed earlier i was told that it is flexible in terms of wfh depending on my health condition. But now my department wants me to be in office twice a week irrespective of the prior discussion. Still half of the office is on hybrid mode. Is it a fair ask?

I will be joining IBM next week in Bangalore ( physical onboarding ) and my hometown is in West bengal , My father is having health problems , mother won't be able to handle everything and no such person we can rely on . Also I am getting married in January . Hence If i stay in Bangalore there will be no one to take responsibility for my marriage prep also . Hi all 🙂👋🏻 Apologies for such a late post. I have an offer of 18 CTC(1L joining bonus) from Larsen & Toubro Infotech & 12.5 fixed from IBM .
My joining in both are in around May last week. Tomorrow my IBM pre onboarding HR will connect with me. Should I ask for a counter offer tomorrow itself?
Or should I ask 2 weeks before joining?
Many told me that companies revise CTC when the joining date is near, else they show less interest. So should I go for it now itself?

Does anyone have a similar experience? I interviewed with recruiters from two of "Big 4". Both interviews went well, and I was told the recruiters will submit my resume to the partners and senior managers for the next interviews. 3 weeks later, I received the rejection letters without the next interview.
