What's it like being an FS Consulting Director in London for Big 4? I'm ex-Accenture & industry Buy-Side and was a Director in both roles.

I'm keen to know the following:

- Typical base & bonus?
- What kind of targets do Directors get given? Are they revenue/margin based? Number of new clients?
- What's the work life balance like at Director level?
- What's it like competing with other Directors within the team, all vying for the Partner track? Particularly as I'm not ex-big 4 or homegrown

Applying to roles within the same federal agency. I know you need one year within the probationary period, but can I apply to a higher GS level? For example, if I'm GS 9, receive a promotion to GS 11 at the end of probation, would i be able to apply to GS 13 roles if I'm qualified?
