That list is long! The main ones, however, are simple; never yell at an employee, never not support them in front of others, never do anything you don't want your employees to do, never gossip about other employees.

They should never dicipline in front of other employees.

like

Speak negatively about another employee

Not behaving like a real leader!

like

They shouldn't abuse anyone or enable abuse, bullying and discrimination which I have witnessed countless times. People are blind and complacent!

like

ACTIVELY gaslight your employees, like hire somrone as a manager, but treat them like a full time clerk, and then twist the knife with "Am I clear, future manager?"

like

Ask a employee to do anything they are not willing to do themselves. Asking them to do something they don't want to do is a perk of being the boss.

like

Smoke weed and leave all the time, lol

Also, hire their daughter who sleeps on the clock with the Vendors, lol

• A manager should never release important information discussed in the management meeting concerning staff indiscipline and how to curb it because employees are very smart, they will use the same information to re-strategize and go against the Manager
• Never.have an affair with an employee, you will loss respect.
• Neve steal a drink and consume it in front of an employee
• Never talk down on another manager or fight with each other in front of employees
• Never disclose confidential information/ documents positions to employees
• Do not discipline an employee publicly in front of other employees
• Do not sell out the company's information to an outsider/ a customer in front of employees.
Do not conceal evil committed by a manager or a staff because of your relationship with them in front of employees. Etc

Not only never yell… never fired them in front of customers and other employees

All corrections should be in private and always followed up with two positive affirmations.

It's comical yet very necessary to point out "Don't do illegal activities". Also, maybe avoid bragging about the good old days when having a rolled up $20 next to your rollodex was no biggie.

like

- Talk down about their employees.
- Say 1 thing to the employee's then do the exact opposite then get made it someone does it the way they did it.
- When someone gives their two weeks and the manager just takes the person off the schedule and terminates them.

like

Insult or mock a client.

Act like they are listening to employee concerns then ignoring everything like it never happened. Yelling & threats. Working hard at hardly working. Unfortunately, in a lot of cases incompetence really does rise to the top.

like

They should never make fun of their part time employee for always coming in on time and never! Late also not to laugh at that person in the employee’s presence.

like

Ask them to not do something that you do currently.

Hello Fishes,
I am much stressed.. it’s only been 5 months to join Capgemini. I joined in as cyber security consultant with good package.
However, the work I do the tricks, logics and solutions I share with team to apply in the project… all are of no use when discussed with the architect guy. The whole team rely upon the wordings/solutions suggested by him only. It feels like my skill/knowledge and experience is of no use.
I feel like what am I doing here….? Any suggestions please.

I was giving my kid the advice that the path you sometimes believe you are on is not necessarily where you will land, in a good way, and to stay open to those paths.

Help me make my point.

Hello fine people,
I have a question. I am a GDS employee wishing to relocate to another country as EY country “x” employee. The plan to relocate to country x was already in motion, if not EY then another org. The EY partner from country x is very interested in having me join their team but not sure about my GDS partner because they will be losing billing and may not like it. Is there a way I can approach this with my leaders? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I'm a cashier. We just got a new manager, and she's making things really hard for us. She starts work at 4:30am and leaves around 2:30pm, but she still expects us to stay until 6pm and work on the weekends! She gives us really long shifts and doesn't give us much time for breaks. And when we ask her about it, she gets mad.

Thinking of switching employers. Do you think bigger retail stores (the ones that have several locations) are easier or harder to work at than little hole-in-the-wall grocery stores (which is all I've ever done)? It seems like the larger chain stores would have more downtime, but I'm wondering if anyone could give some input.
