My bachelor's is a law degree and was told is what got me through the door in claims. Then I got a master's in leadership MSML and working on my DSL (Doctorate in Strategic Leadership) they are business degrees like MBA and DBA but they are more pointed for management and nonprofit organizations incorporation not solely for corporate world. They say soon as the shift to transformational leadership is desired by companies will be looked at better than MBAs but they are very similar and work across all industries.

Very interesting! The big difference being leadership vs business. We certainly need more leaders educated in leadership! People at all levels, actually.
It is still a business degree. Study finance and stock like the MBA counterpart but then teaches more on how to direct and get people to be successful and efficient and a little less on the structure of the business

That's what I needed from my MBA that I didn't get. I was a first time people manager while earning my MBA and I was woefully unprepared and my boss was not helpful because she didn't know this stuff either!
I got my undergraduate degree in business. I eventually went back for my MBA, but haven't found it to be exceptionally useful in the industry.

My undergrad was marketing communications, and I also eventually got an MBA 20 years later. I think it's helped increase my income because the salary algorithm likes that extra degree. Plus, everyone else has one by now.
