Best backup plans if you get fired from a Big Law firm within a year or two after graduating? Go to a non-BL firm and then try to lateral back into BL?

I have a 25K loan from my MBA. I paid off 100k whole, after graduation. 3 years ago, I moved my loan from federal to private ( SOFI) account. I recently lost my job. I have applied for unemployment, as the severance that I received will only cover for 2 months. Together my husband and I used to make less than 250k after tax. Now, with a loss of pay , we are going to make less. Do you think I will be eligible for Loan forgiveness?

Have a big interview tomorrow. The question I dread the most is about why you’re looking for a new job. The honest answer is that there isn’t enough work to go around at my agency and I want to get ahead of the inevitable layoffs. What’s the best way to tell them this? Currently, in accenture. I have had very bad billable hours and not much achievement this fiscal year. I am worried of getting fired, so i applied for another job. Got offered may be 5% above my current pay with 5k bonus, but in lower level at Deloitte. I think working lower level will give me more opportunities to learn as i think i have lot to learn. I made decision based on my gut and accepted the offer. I have not talked to anyone on accenture side yet. What you think?
