I’m planning on moving to Canada, Any advice anyone can offer? Also any suggestions on Job hunt? Can I find jobs out of Canada or I have to be in the country for better chances ??

Been at a new job for a couple of months. Overall it’s been disappointing and I’m starting to feel anxiety for the future. I feel this way because I’ve just been working on one account I really don’t feel will create anything book worthy and I’m afraid that I will have nothing to show after a year. Have others found it hard to transition from Audit to Financial Analyst? All the recruiters I’m meeting with are telling me I probably won’t get an interview since they’re looking for someone who’s ready to hit the ground running.

Why do companies do this? I interviewed with a company. They loved my work and told me that I’m going to start the following week. They made me sign all of the onboarding papers and poof ghosted me! 🤦‍♀️ I feel so down right now! And I feel like I won’t be able to ever land a job!

The hiring process is dated and exhausting

a. No less than 3-5 interviews. If you’re in tech, that final “on-site” is likely a test or presentation equivalent to hours of work.
