Anyone still in this bowl?!!
There seems to be quite a few people in here looking to join a startup.
We're a mature aerospace impact startup (in Switzerland) pre launch for a new platform to engage and empower passangers in order to accelerate sustainability in aviation. Our product website is www.adaption.me and company website is www.optimaero .ai.
If you're interested in joining us, and you think you have skills that suit our business, you could drop me a speculative application by email at hello@OptimAero.ai.

Deloittes 401k is a joke
We need a real 401k
You're basically subsidizing boomers retirement
It's something like 3.5ish percent vested in 3. You don't have to do anything to get it. If you add this to the 401K it really isn't too bad as a package.
I've never had such a poor 401k as I have here. 25 cents on the dollar up to 6% and match only deposited once a year.
No need for a lot of documentation, the pension is simple. Agreed, the 401k match is sad at best.
No associate. It is not.
Meh, completely depends on your salary and length of time with he company, your fully vested after 3 years but unless your a lifer don't worry about it,
What do you mean real? The 401k terms here are the same as every where else I have worked.
My current firm fully matched up to 6%. None of this 25 cents on the dollar up to 6% nonsense. My sense is the pension does not do much to supplement unless you are with big D long term...
That's helpful - thanks for the numbers. Does help cushion the 401k a bit
Is the amount the firm contributes to the pension (not the 401k) pegged to employee contributions in any way? I understand it may be simple, but I can't find any hard info on this of any kind and the person who extended my offer didn't provide much in the way of insight
I'll grab the link off Deloittenet later. It is a fixed contribution on their part (a fixed % of your salary), and a fixed rate of return. It doesn't start until either year two or three)
EY's version of this starts in year 1 and vests after 3 years I believe
