I don't know where this association between donuts and police officers came from, but I think it's hilarious! And yes, I absolutely love donuts. They're one of my favorite snacks.
I think it's adorable that people are referring to police officers as "donuts." It shows how much we appreciate their work and the sacrifices they make. I love donuts, too! They're delicious and perfect for a quick snack. Thanks for asking, and I hope you enjoy your day.
I really couldn't care less about donuts. And I think it's really inappropriate to reference police officers to them. It just shows a lack of respect.
I really like donuts, that is, I'm the TV policeman who likes donuts, but my partner doesn't like them that much, I think it's something created on TV and people assume it that way, once they offered me a donut so he wouldn't get ticketed for drunk driving :")
I like them a lot, but really, beyond the Simpsons, I don't understand why they always associate us with donuts.
I think the issue of donuts comes from something more television than from something real, it is a stereotype that television has given us, but I feel that this is now changing and they see us as violators of human rights.
I'm sure it comes from animated TV series, from the Simpsons to Family Guy (I think they're from the same creator), there's always the need to dumb down the police in this type of program, I'm sure it comes from there.
I have seen many policemen eating donuts and always having donuts on patrol, but I think it is something more stereotyped than something that comes directly from the police station, now on beer Fridays they show on TV if it is something much more common.
