Is cognizant still in work from home ?
Hi everyone!
I've been offered a job at Publicis Sapient as a front-end developer (React Js).
What kind of work culture, work load and tech stack exposure should I be expecting?
I'm having 1 year experience.
I've also got offers from IndiaMART InterMESH Limited, Amdocs, Verizon and Collegedunia.
All for the role of front-end web developer.
I'm very confused between all of them.
How is the work life balance in cognizant ?

It’s more millennial. Best way to describe it.

Slack is a best in class chat application for the enterprise. Lots of integrations available and sleek user interface. I use with Zoom to get video conf/meeting capability
Teams provides more functionality on a single platform(chat, video/meeting, file sharing); however all of those offerings would be rated above average instead of best in class
I find slack far more intuitive than teams.
It was rolled out well before teams and early adopters can't seem to let go.

Slack is way better for eng-first cultures. You can search all public channels at once to find information you need or if someone else has experienced the same problem you’re having and has asked about it. It has plug-ins available for all aspects of work that make things more efficient — automatic messages in public channels at the beginning of the day, on-call bots, JIRA bots, Git bots.
Teams is clunky and is more silo’ed. You can’t search across your entire company, and if you don’t use MS Office (like most tech companies) it’s not worth it
It was before teams, the og

It's not better.
Yes it is!!!!
Works for smaller organization that can’t afford teams
Slack has more security vulnerabilities which makes sense when you think of the cost and size of the companies.
I’m saying slack has MORE security cve (common vulnerability exposure) reports than microsoft teams, thus Microsoft teams is generally more secure.
Teams has 1 cve from 2019 and slack has 635 cve’s. You can easily search cves on https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/search. Pretty crazy when you see the details of some of them.
