The roles of a community manager and a community operations manager can vary depending on the organization, but generally, a community manager is responsible for building and maintaining a strong online community, while a community operations manager focuses on the day-to-day operations and management of that community.

Community operations manager takes care of the high-level goals of the community to keep things running. Basically, the glue that binds everything together. Meanwhile, a community manager builds and maintains s brand's community.

The Community Operations Manager is responsible for setting high-level community goals as well as determining how to reach them. The Community Manager is responsible for setting and implementing social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies.

I think it really depends on your organization. But generally speaking, a community manager is responsible for building a strong online community. Community operations on the other hand is responsible for the daily operation of the community.

I'm the only employee with a background in finance in a tech startup growing at a 300%+ per year. But it's actually my first finance-related experience (interned and now part-time as I'm in my senior year of undergrad) and don't know really how to have an impact as my knowledge is "limited" and have no technical mentorship.

Any advice/mentorship would be wonderful!

I hope he’s in as much pain as I am. The way he ended it was so cold and selfish and unlike how he was any other time with me. It was like a personality switch. I’ve never been so wrong about someone. I’m not sure how to process or recover from that part of it.

I used to love watching air crash investigations while flying home on Thursdays. I’d be on a plane watching planes crash, and people around me would give me weird stares.

Nightmare scenario and need your help. I moved into a new place in august knowing I was going to be WFH. Quiet, lots of light.

They just started construction right next to my building with all day noise, including a bull dozer and heavy machinery coming within 6 feet of my window. We’re also on the second floor so I mean RIGHT NEXT TO MY WINDOW.

I also have a bunch of men starting at me all day on too of the noise triggering my migraines. What can I do?
