Should a cover letter include the reason why you are leaving your current job? Or do I save that for the interview?
For those who went through the phone interview, how long did you give yourself to prepare and what should someone be prepared to answer? This is a non technical PgM role and interviewing with a PgM or TPM, not the recruiter.
The recruiter has reached out to me for more info after my final interview, however, has not provided me any update on the outcome. I was told I’d find out very early this week - do I follow up, wait or ask my referral person…
Been unhappy in my job/at my company for a very long time. Love 6 out of 8 people on my team (the other two are just useless and lazy). I have been applying elsewhere for months (pivoting to IRB compliance). I honestly half expected to never get out of there, but I’m about to be offered a position elsewhere (at a university) and now I’m feeling guilty about leaving. Anyone else ever feel this? What is wrong with me? Does this mean that subconsciously I don’t want to go? Wtf do I do.
Is it recommended that you apply for an AMEX card to keep the points if you’re planning on leaving the firm?
How’s the TPgM ladder like in terms of Comp and growth? How’s the interview process like?
Does everyone realize that complaining and asking for unearned miles/points will just continue to devalue the said miles/points, which makes it harder to redeem them?
Anyone in Houlihan Lokey willing to chat about the interviews? I’m currently in Deloitte audit and just had a call with recruiter about a position in Portfolio valuation and another in FDD. The next step is the online assessment so I’d appreciate some advice on how to best prepare for that. TIA! Houlihan Lokey

Currently M2 at Deloitte in the Cloud Practice. 14 YoE. At amazon for solution architect role what level would this get mapped to? I applied for a solution architect role and the recruiter indicated that level would be determined based on the interview performance
I just left a Big 4 firm to Fund Accounting in hopes of better WLB, but now it’s looking like the hours will probably be even worse (60/70+ average weekly) throughout the year. I feel like I was misled during the interview process regarding the workload. Would it be a bad idea to try to return to my firm or another accounting firm? Another industry job? How bad is it to leave a job after just starting? Any advice welcome!
Anyone wanting to sell bonvoy points? I’m looking to buy for 0.55 cents per point. Please DM if interested!

I’ve been in a Generalist HR role for almost 3 years now. I recently moved into a new company that is worlds behind on systems and processes; everything is broken, no integration, everything is ran globally with basically no visibility/consultation locally. I was used to the capabilities of Workday as a HRIS where I discovered Data Analytics is one of my strengths. Here we use Oracle PeopleSoft and it’s ruined my experience. Is this a good enough reason for me to leave and find a different job?
Just hit my 10 year anniversary only to find out they stopped the anniversary program in February😩
