It looks my husband 5 months to find another job. Supposedly, 6 months is average these days. Ridiculous.
I would say the longest and most disheartening time of my life would be the time I got laid off and couldn't find work for 6 months. Never again would I let that happen.
I'm sorry you're going through this. I've been there before and it's really hard not knowing where your next paycheck will come from. I know it sounds cliche but things will get better
Been 6 months so far. Several interviews but nothing concrete. One of the main issues I have come across has been salary discussions. Seems to be a low market for anything above 70k even with years of experience
I'm employed now but before this job, I went 6 months without a job. It was the most difficult challenge from last year. I never want to experience it again.
Probably 5 months. It was not easy at all. After months of rejections, finally landed a job I'm really happy working for.
Currently on my 3rd month. Still not out of the woods yet. Still on the hunt. I guess, this will run for another month or two.
Maybe you can post that you're finding a job like asking for openings. Only if that's fine with you. But anything to find a job. Whatever works.
I don't know, a couple years.
I tend to take a few years off from time to time. Security is well paid and I don't need a lot of money for my lifestyle, this kinda means I don't really need to work 24/7.
I had two previous jobs and the longest space I've had in between them is 7 months. That is right after I resigned from my first job due to irregularities that is beyond my morals can accept. For more than half a year I was unemployed but I was never frustrated.
So, so sorry you're going through this. Not me and not in our field, but it took my sister over 50 applications just to get an interview.
The longest for me was 6 months. The pandemic actually helped me because there was shortage for employees everywhere and I was able to get a job
I was a stay at home mom for 13 years so don't worry about it. I'm sure you will find one, Good luck you have this!
Hmm. I guess mine was 8 months. I wasn't able to find a new job right after due to personal reasons.
I think mine is around 5 months too. It was so hard to find a new job at that time since it was during the height of the pandemic.
