I know that's depends on the amount I have to travel (and potentially stay) but at the moment this is unknown. Past 8 months was just twice a month + 2 nights stay.

The only thing I know is it won't be every week, the return trian ticket is about £80-100, depends I could plan ahead.

Recently, i was "promoted" or, I should say, my title was changed to the next ring up the ladder. As a part of this, I went from reporting to Senior Management, to Junior Management. The Jr. Manager has good intentions, but, is not helpful. I've worked at the company longer, have accomplished more across multiple lines of business and have a much stronger internal network. Am I overreacting thinking this is a major slight that will ultimately slow down my growth within the company?

I'm working on skills to reposition myself from a branch of tech where certifications are mandatory and required to even interview into DevOps or software development. I'm currently taking some online classes in Jenkins, docker, python. I've found a few certifications you can test for. I'd love to be able to go into a mid level position vs Jr in the next few years. Help!! My bestfriend is doing two months abroad and was trying to fly into turkey when they told her she couldn't because her passport expired within three months.

She went to the US Embassay in Athens knowing she had a month left of traveling, and gave her an emergency passport and punched holes in her exsisting one. Now no country will let her in with her emergency passport.

Can her mom get her a passport in the US and ship it to her? Is there anyway around this?
