Hi fishes,
I interviewed with Siemens Energy for SAP ABAP position on 21st Jan. The interview went on for about an hour and in the end, the interviewer asked my expected ctc and wanted assurance if I won't negotiate on Siemens offer with some other company as i am currently serving notice period and join Siemens if provided an offer.
Till now , the HR team has not reached out to me for salary discussions and my LWD is 7th Feb. Can i expect a call or i got rejected ?Siemens

It’s incredible to me reading how successful the Big 4 have been in brainwashing us all. I left over the summer for industry as an S2 and have never been happier w EVERY facet of my new job. 40% raise. Only one week difference in PTO (remember EVERY thing is negotiable people!). 100% 401K match up to 6%. AND better/cheaper health insurance. In other words - do your OWN research before letting those above you trick you into staying longer than is personally necessary for your career. It’s like a bad breakup - you doubt your decision until it’s over with and then wonder why the F*CK you wasted as much time as you did! If you find what you’re looking for now - the experience and work ethic you learned on this side will take you wherever you want to go on the other side!
75k - 1st year senior
About what I was as an S1. I’d expect 85k-90k if you leave now vs 115k-125k after M1.
So many factors hence why I gave it a range and probably went on the low side. In a market where you are making 75k as an S1, I’d expect your M1 salary to be right around 100k. A 15%-25% bump is what you can generally expect moving to industry. You can certainly do better but that’s a pretty accurate range assuming a 100k M1 salary.
What is your current salary?
Hmm I see... thanks!
Can more people weigh in please? Isn't that salary after M1 exit low?

Totally depends on the market
Also depends if you make Manager in 4 years vs. more. I will say that coming out as an M1 you’re likely not going in at the Manager level in most industry jobs as they hire in at the lower level to have you get a feel for the environment. Think same may go for S1
