Recruiter is telling me that fund administrators pay more than private funds at SM/Director levels. Are people seeing this? I always thought it was the other way around

All these weddings are blowing my mind and budget. I've had 5 weddings so far this year with several more to go by EoY. Why do law firms still request transcripts even if you have been working for over 5 years? I am just curious because they seem to be the only industry that still does it. However, I do see a compelling future by using my knowledge and skills to open my own firm/business and work less hours as long as I make enough money which is $75k, or if I do work long hours, it’s because I want to.

As an employee at pwc, can I sign “Form 3115s?” Is that allowed? Also, can I sign these forms for companies in California even though I’m a TX licensed CPA?

How long does it take for PwC to send out rejection email? I interviewed with the team like a month ago, the recruiter called me the next day and told me that congrats, everyone likes me and told that they were working on my official offer. 3 weeks later, nothing. I followed up 3 times already and got the answer that I should expect to hear by the end of the week. My last follow up email, no response lol. Should I just move on now?

I asked for a signing bonus and a 110k salary. If you are a senior, you should definitely be applying and just see what comes up. Crazy the market for seniors right now

Given all the recent buzz about expected large raises around the big 4, I’d like to level set on the average salary for a 4th/5th year female senior manager in federal tax ( credits & methods group) in the Midwest - Chicago/Minneapolis/Detroit market. Anyone willing to share a range if they work in a similar area of tax / similar level? I recognize all groups vary greatly in salary expectations, so looking for input specific to my area. Current expectations set at 140-160k. Reasonable?
