Hi! After years of being a clinician (OT), I’m pivoting into project management. I’ve taken courses and worked on small scale projects outside of my normal role. I have found it difficult to secure a project manager role, but I did receive an offer for a project coordinator position within my organization, after a few rounds of interviewing. Here’s the issue- I expected to take a little salary cut, but not a significant decrease in pay. What is the median pay? My research says it’s about $85k

How do you get leverage as an internal transfer? A buddy of mine with similar experience and location received an external offer for nearly $100k TC more than my internal offer for the same role. I haven’t accepted it yet, and I’ve already caused a stir in my previous org. Should I accept an offer I’m already bitter about? Is my only recourse to now leave the company? Leaving would hurt both my previous org and new org.

I've tried to negotiate with deloitte but they are not ready to negotiate and asking me to join on the same CTC which was initially provided. I'm confused to select the company. Looking for advice... 5 months ago I went from Higher Education (HE) Law Firm. I was so excited to move on and was offered about $16K more in my salary.
