When I started my training, I imagined a very linear path: PhD to postdoc to maybe a teaching role. Instead, my career has been much more winding, with detours and uncertainty along the way. HR provided the feedback as I am not rejected bit not fit for the role so they have put me in talent plus pool. What should I expect next and does this mean that I may get the offer ?

I am fairly green in academia (< 1 year) and I want to shift to an area of research which I always wanted to do but never could as a Ph.D. student (because of conflict of interest).
The issue I am facing is that due to lack of my documented research experience in this field (read, lack of papers) I am finding it very hard to land any grant and reviewers keep saying "The PI hasn't demonstrated any experience in said research" blah blah.
Any advice on how to overcome this?

It is elementary that the development of a theory is based on completed and finished works or theories with a sufficient basis to be possible. But what were guys like Plato based on? He could only rely on what his mind told him. It must have been very difficult but at the same time, they were very brave in defending their ideas.

I feel like I'm doing everything right, but my research is not getting the attention it deserves.

I've submitted papers to all the right journals, gone to all the right conferences, and published on all the right topics. Yet no one seems to care—no one's citing my work!
